Being entrepreneurs can sometimes make you forget why we’re really doing what we’re doing. If you’re like me, you’re doing this because you truly believe your creations will help change and improve the world. Too often it becomes too much about raking in the money and checking our AdSense totals. It’s important to take a step back from time to time and open your heart to help those in need today.
I recently stumbled upon HelpDarfurNow.org. The site was started by two New Jersey high school students, which is impressive in itself. I found the site because I was looking for a legitimate website that I could use to donate money for Darfur to that accepts PayPal and HelpDarfurNow.org was the only one I found. I encourage all my readers to take a step back from the everyday rush of our projects and websites and to take a moment to help those in need today, even if it’s as little as $5 or $10. It feels good to start each month with an open hand and an open heart so take the step to help those in need this month and donate at HelpDarfurNow.org.
