I would say this time around it's a lot more refined. Most (not all) Internet companies these days are receiving investor funding only after proving that their company has value and a viable business model. This is not to say, however, that there is a ton of web 2.0 companies coming out with no business model whatsoever (maybe advertising, but I don't consider that a very good model anymore).

Sorry about that, Frank. That was definitely just a little bit of exaggeration on my part. TheWeblogWire is nonetheless a great service for bloggers/publicists. Best of luck!

Thanks for the mention, Rohail. I'm glad that you appreciate our service enough to include it in your steps on "how to launch a web 2.0 app".

However, I just wanted to clarify that we do have a filtering system where every release must be approved by TheWeblogWire.com Team before it is submitted on the site. If anyone tried to send out fifty million press releases on TheWeblogWire, they would not be very successful!

We appreciate and accept any unique and relevant press release that comes our way. It's not that difficult to get approved by the Team, if you have a legit news release.
