Meeting Randal Pinkett

On Monday I met with the one and only Randal Pinkett, winner of The Apprentice and author of Campus CEO. I have to say that just from meeting him for a few minutes that he is a really cool guy. I shook his hand and then told him about I had learned of his book from the Campus CEO competition a couple months ago and decided to pick it up after David Askaripour of MindPetals told me we got mentioned in there. I told him I wrote for MindPetals and he was really impressed and asked me to write a review for his book on my blog and try to get some coverage on MindPetals about the book. I told him sure thing, without a doubt. He was cool enough to sign my copy of Campus CEO and I gave him a card for Walamu and told him about how I started it at Rutgers last semester and he seemed pretty impressed. This is considering Mr. Pinkett also went to Rutgers and started his business here all while graduating with a 3.9 GPA and being on the track team. Mr. Pinkett is truly an inspiration to me and I’m sure to the many others that will pick up a copy of his new book, Campus CEO.

To get started on building your own business empire while still in college, get your copy of Mr. Pinkett’s book here: Campus CEO.

P.S. I have an extra copy of Campus CEO since my order from Amazon came in a day after Randal was at the signing. If you have any suggestions on what I should do with this extra copy by means of some sort of crazy give away competition, leave a comment.

awesome! are you going to be at Rutgers for part of your spring break?

I’ll be there! Grease Trucks here I come, haha.

Rohail, about youir extra copy of the Campus CEO, hoe about ask your readers why they desere it? Then, pick a winner from those who impressed you the most.

I’ll tell you why I want it: I have a son, freshman in college, and would love to send it to him, to give him some ideas, as well as inspiration.

Hey Rohail,

Awesome! So glad that you got to me Randall. Thanks for reminding him about our network :) Hopefully we can do an interview with Randall on the network if he’s interested. Keep up the awesome work with your business.

Wow that’s so cool. Now embarrassingly, I dont really know who the guy is (‘cos in the UK, The Apprentice is different), but thats awesome anyway.

As for the book hmm – maybe a linkbaiting competition for Walamu?

a linkbaiting competition for Walamu sounds great or the book can be given away on a Walamu’s Idea competiton where the one who can sugguest the best improvement for walamu & help it to grow wins the book heh.

Dennis– Thanks man. Hah that’s awesome. I live about 15 minutes away from Rutgers so if I’m around I can definitely hit up the grease trucks. Fat sandwiches galore. Let me know when you’re around and maybe we can talk some business.

Healthy Body- That’s not a bad idea. I’d definitely want the book to go to someone who could put it to use now. I’ll have to mull that over. Thanks, Healthy Body.

David- No problem at all. I think an interview would be great and I’m sure he’d be open to it. Thanks, Dave.

Adnan- Thanks, Adnan. Yeah he was a pretty cool guy to be honest. This guy is a genius with all that he did while he was at Rutgers. That’s a good suggestion- linkbaiting is what I’m thinking as well.

cube3- Hm both of those ideas sound pretty good. Thanks for the input cube3. I’ll be sure to put up the contest soon.
