I really just started getting into affiliate marketing just to make a little extra cash, but in no way do I want to overload my content with affiliated material or offend my readers with ads and so I just think it's right to let them know when something is affiliated. I'm a bit surprised at my feedburner count as well, but I really only just started implementing tactics to get my blog more popular. Hits are definitely going up now and I'm hoping my subscriber count will go up as well. My favorite method for getting new traffic these days is submitting my article to reddit...it does wonders. You put "(aff.)" beside your affiliated products and services which is an excellent idea. Most bloggers I study have to reveal to their audience, almost sheepishly, that they are pushing an affiliated product. It's also a surprise to see only 7 repeat feed readers to your site.
