Walamu makes it a breeze for students to get the textbooks they need without spending hundreds at their local book store or worrying about running back-and-forth to the post office. The service takes a common sense approach to an expensive problem and makes it easy for students to find the books they need without the hassle nor the outrageous costs. Stay tuned for more updates and keep track of Walamu, the fastest and cheapest way for students to get what they need, at www.walamu.com.

Nice layout, Rohail. ;-)

I have a great idea for a JV with you — check your email soon….

is this one of your projects?

Yep, this is the one I’ve been working on. I can’t wait until it launches.

Thanks, Josiah. I’m interested to see what you have in mind ;)

hey, nice going there rohail, i just stumbled upon your website and found it very interesting. I wanted to ask you something though. How do you have this website on your own domain name? same goes for the writeonmyboard website. Do you have a server system at home or you buy domains and hosting plans from someone. Please let me know because i would really appreciate your help. I want to set up a similar blogspot asword site to raisesome extra cash. Thanks and best of luck for your future endeavors. :)

Thanks, Jafer. I actually purchased all my domain names and hosting from godaddy.com. I find their prices pretty competitive and they have really good customer service. If you would like to set up a blogspot, you don’t need to buy a domain or hosting of any sort. Simply go to blogspot.com and create your blog. All you have to do is slap on the adsense in the template. I hope that helps :)

Hey, wonderful man, thanks a lot. It was a great amount of help. Take care and thanks once again.

hey, rohail. I was just curious about the origin of the name “walamu”. Can you expand on that?, please. Thanks.

Hey Jafar,

Sure thing. To be honest it kind of just randomly popped into my head. I wanted the name to be something unique as well as something short that people can remember. If you’re looking for an excellent resource that will help you come up with a successful name (because there is such a thing) read “The 11 Immutable Laws of Internet Branding.” I just picked it up today and am almost done so it’s a quick read.
